All permit holders must notify the Parking Office in writing 30 days in advance of terminating the contract. Termination must coincide with the end of a calendar month. Email all cancellations to parking@guelph.ca.
It is the responsibility of the permit holder to update the Parking Office of any changes to  vehicle, vehicle plate number or payment information changes, within 48 hours.  Failure to update the permit may result in parking infraction notice.
Preauthorized payment by credit card is the only method of payment accepted.
Parking in Arthur Street Lot, East Parkade, West Parkade, Macdonell Lot, Neeve Lot, Norwich Lot and Market Parkade is restricted to 48 consecutive hours. If your vehicle will not be moved every 48 hours, you must notify the parking office at parking@guelph.ca.
Parking charges and permits are for use of parking space only.
The City of Guelph, its employees or agents are not responsible for loss or damage to vehicle or its contents, however caused.
A parking space is not guaranteed.
Parking outside the allocated hours for East Parkade Residential, West Parkade Residential and Market Parkade Residential permits, will result in additional fees being required.
Any fees related to electric vehicle (EV) stations will be the responsibility of the vehicle driver/owner.
I acknowledge that a replacement pass card will be the permit holders' cost and responsibility.
Parking permits may be terminated at any time by the City of Guelph by written notice to the permit holder. This may include termination for misuse, location closures etc.
The City will attempt to give advance notice of regulation changes by public notice.
Continued use of the parking lot is acknowledgement and acceptance by the permit holder of updated regulations.
Nonsufficient funds (NSF) fee of $50.85 will be applied if payment could not be processed or if payment was declined.
Failure to make payment will result in cancellation of the permit.
No credit or refunds for period of time when parking is not used, parking not found, or permit cancellation by permit holder or by City for breach of terms and conditions.
The City of Guelph reserves the right to refuse issuance of any permit if there are multiple unpaid parking tickets or penalties.
Permits are non-transferable.
Permit can only be registered to a vehicle with current licence registration.
The permit holder is responsible for: Adhering to all the terms and conditions related to their permit. Parking their vehicle in the location identified on the permit. Parking their vehicle in a parking space designated with pavement markings, if the location has demarcated parking spaces. Ensuring all contact, payment and vehicle information is current. Ensuring the vehicle is properly plated and registered with a valid permit. Nonsufficient fees (NSF) if payment could not be processed or if payment was declined. Alternate parking arrangements and charges if parking space is not found. Contacting the Parking Department when a permit is lost or stolen. Paying a permit replacement fee for any lost or stolen permit. Locking their vehicle when parked. Ensuring the vehicle is not parked contrary to other parking regulations or any bylaws.
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Corporation of the City of Guelph, its members of council, officers, employees and agents from any kind of liability, suit, claim, demand, fine, action, loss, damage, legal cost and/or disbursement, or proceeding of any kind whatsoever, whether by act or omission or alleged act or omission, for which The Corporation of the City of Guelph may become liable or suffer in connection with the enjoyment of the rights granted by The Corporation of the City of Guelph in connection with Parking Permits. I agree to give The Corporation of the City of Guelph notice of any known or threatened liability, suit, claim, demand, fine, action, loss, damage within five (5) days.
I understand there will be a onetime administrative fee of $65.54 (HST included)
I understand there will be a onetime card purchase fee of $44.48 (HST included) for gated lots.
