2026 Guelph Seasonal Patio Program

Thank you for applying to the Seasonal Patio Program. This application is open to seasonal patios that want to use city-owned streets for installation between May and September each year.

Please note: It is the ongoing responsibility of Patio operators to ensure compliance with any and all mandatory regulations, by-laws and third-party requirements. The guidelines and any related Seasonal Patio Program requirements are subject to change without notice.

Documentation

If you are not using one of the City’s pre-approved patio drawings, an engineer-stamped drawing will be required to obtain a building permit for the construction of a platform or deck and may be required for fencing or other built structures.
